At Opawa Baptist, children are an important part of our church family. We aim to introduce and develop children’s understanding of who Jesus is.
LITTLE READERS — PRESCHOOLERS
Little Readers is a fun pre-school group with music time, stories and activities – a chance to connect with your child and to meet and get to know other parents. Each session is followed by morning tea and a time for the children to play and the parents to chat.
SUNDAY SCHOOL — 0–12 YEARS
A great place to make friends.
On Sunday mornings Kidztime is for children 0-12 years. Interesting lessons and having fun together, run alongside bible based teaching. We strive to actively provide opportunities whereby each child can develop significant Christian friend relationships with older people, younger people and their peers, through our church activities.

OBYC – our Youth Group for high school-aged teens
You really need to experience it!
OBYC is a small, caring community of teenagers who live life together. We come together at least once a week on Sunday evenings and start with Life Groups at 6.00pm followed by games and teaching at 7.00pm, with supper at 8.00pm!
Saturday night social events are regularly organised and we go on camps throughout the year.
OBYC is big on community and living life together. It’s a safe place to talk, to share the ups and downs of life and make lifelong friends.
