Opawa Baptist has some wonderful bright, light and open spaces for Weddings, Meetings, Conferences, Funerals, Church services … you name it.
We’ve got a grassed outdoor area, good car parking, and wheelchair access to all areas, you really need to come see us for your event.

Our auditorium space is light, bright and open. It has coloured glass windows on two walls, and a large skylight 14m up above! Seating up to 300 people, it has comfortable bench seats, and a good stage area for speakers or performers.
Foyers - Large and small
Our foyer and entry is quite adaptable, with two concertina doors allowing us to seperate this into two usable spaces. The smaller foyer area seats up to 20 people comfortably, and the larger around 40 people.
After our church services we can have over 100 people in this area with a combination of seating at cafe tables, couches or standing.
The library is a smaller room often used by counsellors or small family group meetings. Seating up to eight (or ten at a squish) this room is private and easy to access.
One on one meetings
BOARD ROOm / Meeting Room
The Board Room is set up for small meetings - it currently holds two couches and a large table and has a whiteboard on one wall. Suitable for up to ten people.
West Wing & creche
Our west wing is accessible directly from the carpark and grass area. It consists of two large areas (approximately 6m x 4.5m each), a creche, kitchenette and bathroom. It is great if you want private access for your group.
